Sad situation for a lot of good people

Pros

Easy to move up and make some quick cash.

Cons

Driven Brands is slowly dissolving because it is a broken model. Its top brass has a lack of passion for the companies it owns, and its path to success is a pure case of quantity over quality. It's a very sad story for each and every company that has been purchased; thriving small franchisors with great potential getting bought for reasonable dollars, then being slowly gutted by a soulless corporation bent on industry dominance but who hasn't bothered to spend the time to discover what the industry's all about. A tiny price with a powerful inheritance has decided he wants to dabble in something he doesn't understand and doesn't care how many lives he tramples to fees his ego... Seriously, that's not an exaggeration of the situation here.

Run Away & Avoid!

Pros

When it's time to go home & leave the dysfunction at the office. Parking is never an issue. Great to work with passionate franchise owners who are dedicated.

Cons

We were guaranteed personally by the Group President to "...not worry...no one will lose their jobs" - that was a lie. We have lost numerous employees because they were not part of the "plan going forward." The same ppl let go were told previously they were an "integral part of the new regime." The CFO/Vice President of Finance is completely lost, is in way over her head, yet has a great ability of deflecting & avoiding any mistakes, choosing instead to blame others and outright lie about anyone as long as she saves herself. Bills not being paid, employees not getting paid - the list is a mile long yet how she continues to stay employed is a mystery. She has also told employees to post false positive reviews on Glass Door to "make things look good for Charlotte." A CFO with a habit of lying...not very reassuring. Company uses the phrase "Humble but Hungry" as a feel good catch phrase, forgetting the important part of being HONEST. Senior Leadership will lie directly to your face & do it very well.

Pros

I can't think of any.

Cons

This company claims to operate as a meritocracy. This should mean that employees are promoted based on their abilities. Not true here. If you're a hard worker with strong ethical values, I suggest you look elsewhere.
