Pros

None. Aside from the fact that colleagues are just as miserable as you.

Cons

• Zero growth opportunities • Misogynistic culture - men are paid at higher salaries for the same roles, women are forced to take on additional work over men without additional compensation or future growth opportunities - Growth only provided for men • Completely ignored by my leadership • Only priority was cutting costs, not supporting existing employees and their wellbeing • No upward trajectory for Administrative Assistants or women in the company in general • Employees are completely taken advantage of • Miserable, depressed employees due to lack of humanity and care by upper management.

Cliquey and low pay

Pros

Easy going shop, some good co workers, good place to get mining experience before going north

Cons

Low pay for the trade and hours put in.Can make $$$ more in the shops in Lethbridge, Calgary, cranbrook etc and be home every night.Tasks and promotions are more orientated towards cliques/ friends groups rather than knowledge or experience. Doesn’t matter if you have 10+ years experience in the trade. You can be stuck doing the more boring mundane tasks and skipped for training or promotions as it is more clique orientated. Unless you live in sparwood and ingrained with the people who work there I would recommend skipping this company.
