Pros
Great place to work. They have a great training program for all the new drivers and show and tell you pretty much everything you need to know about transporting special needs kids to and from school. If you are a retiree, part time working mom, or someone looking for a great well appreciated job this is the place. They provide 3 free breakfast outings a month to different places and off site family events too throughout the year. Another big plus is that if you are a stay at home mom you can bring your child on the bus with you so you can still make an extra few $$ and save the daycare. You can also bring your mini school bus home with you if you have a place you can park. You are in charge of inspecting your own bus and cleaning it. Your job is to let fleet know if something needs repair and they arrange it all for you. You also need a phone as you need an app to log your day. A few things I see posted online that are not true and should be known before hand. You are paid by the route not by the hour. It can be negative on days like last weeks snow storm but there also many days you do not have all your kids on the bus and you get paid the same if they are there or not. They give you a fleet gas card for fuel so you do not pay it yourself and get reimbursed for bus washes. They also supply all the washer fluids, cleaning supplies for your bus. Anyone that has a class 5 drivers license just needs to get a written test to class 4 and they do the S endorsement in house. A Both easy to acquire. This is only a part time job and should go in on knowing that is why it is great for us retirees, daytime part time and moms with kids looking for some extra $$$ or something to keep busy with. If you are looking for a job to pay your mortgage and support your family it is not that kind of paying job. I know that this is a lot but there is a lot of good things about working at 4 Seasons especially if you know what to expect going in.
Cons
The days like last week we had a snow storm and can make for a stressful day transporting special needs students.
