Pros
Work from home was good but got removed when they confirmed it will remain in place. People moved and make life decisisions based on that. I saw so many employee who loved their job being crushed by this. Me included.
Cons
This job was perfect then the company was sold. The new owners removed the on site free brunchs, after promising that work from home would be at our discretion it was revoked and shift changed. We had to carry our equipement because the office was closing at odd times. The low salary was ok for WFH but all the fees involved when we have to work on site make no sense and no one could make it. My manager also told me I looked fat when she returned from a 3 days vacation. Work at the office was clearly to hide layoffs since our managing team was all in asia all of a suddain. Some people got new role granting them remote work when other doing the same thing had to start working on site. Some people where promised promotions and working towards it and it got cancelled whiteout notice or explanation. Wonderfull and very hard working woman got let go all of a sudden. Changes in insurance, where process would take up to 3 months to get reimbursed and we lost alot of our benefits. If you are a woman or french speaking you are not taken seriously. I saw some men with +10 years in the company being rediculised by poeple from other department and not taken seriously and they all had in comon being french speaker. I have openly spoke about those issues and tried my best to make thing change while still providing good work and nothing worked. I was extremely sad the day I quit, It was such a cool place to work at.
