Pros
- Work/Life balance - if you meet your sale targets - Thanks to pandemic, roles have become hydrid. (there is pressure to return to office) - Benefits are ok. Used to be better but now are "industry standards". - Pension is ok. Used to be better
Cons
- Top down management style. Don't question... unless it is for client's benefits. - Promote wrong individuals in managerial position(s). ("yes people") - Sale driven environment... every year your targets or workload keeps going up - Unless you live in Montreal and are French, opportunities are minimal. They do not move staff anymore, rather hire locally. - Training is ALL online... and you may be paired with a coach across the country. Historically, you were paired with an AM at the same branch.
