Pros

Cool properties to work on Work from Home

Cons

Incompetent Leadership: Animation Directors who have never been proper Animator's, leads to not understanding what they are asking of their team. Rather than improving a mostly working shot, will decide they don't like it and ask for the whole thing to be redone in a day or two. Wants to be a Hollywood director, so instead of trying to make the animation solid, is changing up shots to pursue his "vision" of what the show should be. Animation Supervisors who lack the ability to coach their team, whether that's due to incompetence or being overworked is a toss up. No coordination or cohesive vision with Animation director, so you get notes that conflict with eachother. Horrible Rigs: Rigs always have several issues as if they were not tested whatsoever, animators are frequently expected to work around the issues rather than receiving properly working assets. The above point actually applies to everything the animator receives, broken sets, sets that don't meet the requirement of the shot, etc. Have the animator figure it out so that it gets across the line. Company is incapable of running a production that allows animators to have a good work life balance and do their best work.

Pros

The people are genuinely friendly, it can offer a good opportunity for someone to learn depending where they are in their career and the projects produced are relatively high quality. It's a small studio feel but at a large scale, which can be nice.

Cons

The upper management is a mess, there's absolutely no unified vision and the company is in a constant state of chaos, unprepared and last-minute decisions that end up hurting employee morale, client confidence and the studio's ability to consistently bring in work. The working conditions aren't great either given cramped spaces, inadequate furniture and mediocre wages. Not to mention the illegal practice of not paying overtime (which almost all studios have moved away from already).
