Pros
Projects, when available, are interesting and help you develop professionally. The co-workers are generally nice. There are some very intelligent and welcoming engineers in the group. The location in Blue Ash near Summit Park is also very convenient and nice to be around.
Cons
They didn't really seem prepared to have a co-op at all. I was placed in a bank of computers that had no one else in it and away from my 'group', and sometimes didn't speak to a single person for days unless I made it happen. I had to make it a point of walking by engineers and managers that I wanted to get to know better, because I otherwise had no business joining the main group given where I was seated. My manager was not proactive in my onboarding at all, and some other individuals who noticed tried to fill in when they could. On top of that, a major aerospace client near them has been migrating software for a year, and it caused IT issues requiring 45-90 minutes to boot up your software (this was mostly out of the control of Belcan, but it was a signficant frustration none-the-less).
