Pros
•Great benefits •Good time off policy and flexible hours •Working for a humanitarian organization
Cons
•Extremely hierarchical and difficult to advance in your career here •Terrible and unhelpful HR department •Organization structure is extremely unclear - I left without ever seeing a formal org chart. Makes it difficult to know who to reach out to and how to get the support you need •Toxic behaviours amongst some of the most senior people I worked with (very few people actually embodied the core principles of the Red Cross which was disappointing) •Low pay for the type and amount of work (you can easily find the same job at a different company with a way better salary) •There is absolutely no company culture. No morale. Core values are not enforced. It could be fine if you're a self-motivated, but it definitely wasn't for me •Literally no diversity at the upper levels, which feels hypocritical for an organization that preached "inclusion"
