Pros
Flexible culture , work from home is acceptable, able to leave for appointments/personal matters on occasion so as long as work gets done. Some good people
Cons
With a flexible culture comes the needs for accountability and here there is a definite lack of accountability. Certain individuals contribute very little or have a poor performance yet there is little interest in taking action to close the door on such individuals. Poor Pay -High expectation for low pay; very low compensation in comparison to industry standards. Management is delusional. As a result of poor pay: staff that are hired are often not of the highest capability. Turn over is high. Lack of standardization or efficiency. Departments are silo-ed. The wrong people get promoted or protected because of inter company relationships. Much of management has their own agenda and often don't represent true leaders. Overall, this company is trying to improve but without realizing that they currently don't possess the right people to succeed. They are too preoccupied trying to compete the with big 5 without looking at the root problem. Those that stay are afraid of change, disgruntled, don't think they can find better, or know they are definitely not going to find better because their skills are lacking. The flexible culture sucks those with children and personal obligations to stay and accept their less then stellar jobs. No young and motivated individual will stay for long without wanting out. This is for 40+ 'given up on life' crowd.
