Pros
My team leads were always really supportive and knowledgable
Some work from home
Decent benefits
Legal insurance benefit was invaluable
Management was flexible with things like FMLA
Education and licencing opportunities were plentiful and paid for by the company, mostly had to be done on your own time (not sure if that's standard).
Cons
Being promoted from team lead (hourly) to management (salary) was, in every case I saw, a huge increase in time and stress requirements and at least a 30% decrease in pay. They treated managers very poorly in teams I was exposed to.
The company values are nice but didn't influence management as much as profit and posturing
My manager's manager was very meanspirited, even cruel, to our manager and he emulated that behavior, to the detriment of the team.
Took months and intervention from upper management to get my name changed
Moving to more and more in-office
Office environment was uncomfortable, oppressively lit
Very few breaks, lots of pressure to be fast and have three things going on at once.
Very limited and strict sick time, always shortstaffed
