Pros
Pay is on time
Decent benefits after 30 days
Good PTO and 401(k)
You probably won’t get fired
Cons
The public image and internal reality are not the same. Leadership talks about ethics and fairness but doesn’t walk the talk. Decisions are biased, and HR acts more like PR than support.
Job roles and titles are often changed after hiring. What you’re told during interviews may not match what you actually do — or get paid for. Growth is almost nonexistent unless you're in Tampa. If you're remote or in a satellite office, expect to be sidelined.
High performers are overlooked. Raises are capped. Evaluations are rubber-stamped. Doesn’t matter how hard you work — you’ll get the same rating as someone doing the bare minimum.
Toxic culture is ignored. Complaints about leadership go nowhere. HR is unresponsive unless it’s about image issues. Ethics complaints pile up with no follow-through.
You’ll likely be doing the work of multiple people due to turnover. Training is minimal, support is weak, and burnout is common.
