Pros
Extend A Family is always in need of DSPs, so it's not hard to get hired. As a DSP, you basically get to choose how much you want to work, and there are always plenty of contracts/hours.
Cons
When meeting the client for the first time, the coordinator talks about what they need and different behaviours you will have to manage. I found that this was rushed and downplayed. Many of the clients I and other DSPs worked with turned out to be much more challenging than expected (i.e hitting, scratching, biting, etc.) There was very little support from the coordinators on this. When my client was hitting me, my coordinator gave me a pep talk on the phone when what I needed was a second person to support me.
