Pros

- If you have a good team (which I do), they make the work feel less burdensome. - People are overall really friendly and great collaborators. - The social and sub-culture clubs make the office an even livelier place. Leadership fosters a place where you can start a sub-groups (i.e., baking, reading clubs). This fosters a more creative atmosphere overall, which helps foster friendships outside the work you do. - Benefits are great and the extra days off for long weekends is a cherry on top. Really goes a long way with satisfaction. - With the acquisition, there have been lots of unknowns, which is only natural. Even with this, leadership have done their best to share updates as they aware, so we don't feel left in the dark. - High retention of senior staff...which sucks for junior roles starting out. But high retention is overall good indicator of a healthy place. - Managers care about reviews and seem to want your growth, even if it means loosing you to a different client.

Cons

- Upward movement from junior to senior roles may be a bit slow and largely dependent on right moment-right timing (if someone leaves). So growing your career may require leaving. - Rewards for contributions, especially when a lot of late hours are spent or big projects accomplished - are scarce. They DO show appreciation with small gift cards when you help with something not in your job description. However, when you go above and beyond with your work scope, they don't have systems in place to reward people. Especially as account folks, we tend to be unsung heroes. - No salary review if you don't push for it. Very hard to come by.

Leadership is generally supportive, and there is strong exposure to large scale integrated campaigns. Good place to grow creatively and gain experience working across different channels and stakeholders. Fast paced environment that can help you build skills quickly.

Cons

Like many agencies, timelines can move quickly and workloads can fluctuate depending on client needs. Priorities may shift fast
