Pros

This is from the experience as a co-op software dev working in the IT department. It was a decent place to start learning basic software development when I was there. It could have gotten better or worse since I finished. There wasn't ever an overwhelming amount of work to do, I could usually go at a relaxed pace.

Cons

There was occasionally some workplace drama and could sometimes be a stressful environment. Some of the technologies used were pretty outdated and the code was poorly documented so there was a lot of time spent figuring out how things worked. If I completed tasks too fast there would sometimes be a delay in recieving new tasks which forced you to work slower.

Pros

People are great and genuine. The history of the organization makes you want to be proud to work for such a historic company, however sadly that only takes you so far!

Cons

Stuck in the ways of the past. Very slow to acknowledge and implement any changes. The Managers were made Managers because they were there the longest and sadly this does not work for the Millennials of today's world. The Princeton location is historic but it is old and very much out of date. Work stations are as old as the staff working there and the building is falling apart.

Pros

-upper/middle management is open to new ideas and is looking for areas to improve -overall, compensation has been increased in order to be more competitive within the industry -great work-life balance - certain positions now have the opportunity to work from home, company floater day etc. -the company values its employees ie. free coffee provided by employer, company paid BBQs, Holiday Dinner, pension plan etc. -many opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and room to grow -employer pays for advanced education ie. CIP, CRM -for the most part, employees and management get along and work well together -upper management is down to earth and approachable/friendly

Cons

-some of the processes in place do not always keep employees accountable for the work they do or don't do. This can create frustration among employees who pull their weight while others are not - free riders.
