Cons
They’ve hired a lot of former IBM and SAP people in the Cloud business, and as a result my opinion is that much of the sales leadership does not understand how to grow a new territory from nothing, as they’ve worked in large companies selling into an established customer base for much of their careers. They seem to believe reps can just say “Google” and get money thrown at them. The final six months were spent dreading every interaction with my manager, who entered outright falsehoods in my performance review record. I’ve never had a bad performance review in my entire career, I’m certain the problem wasn’t me. I’m happy to have moved on. I’d work there again, but would never work for that manager ever again. It suggests all the talk about culture is just make believe, otherwise they shouldn’t still be working there. They were not Googley at all.
