Pros
Pay was ok, some coworkers were nice
Cons
So many issues with this place. Breaks were short and stringent, managers would time your bathroom breaks, and there was absolutely no talking allowed. I couldn’t even say good morning to my coworkers ever. One time a coworker got a warning for whistling in the warehouse. If you make any small mistakes they will scream it from the rooftops. There was also ‘school’ once a week where all employees were forced to watch Gary Gregg on his company wide tv show that he made for himself starring *you guessed it* himself where he puts down other companies and talks about politics and products. The management at Gregg’s was unhelpful and cold, I never got any training and I was told to study the company catalogue in my free time. I was yelled at my management almost every day. I worked until my feet literally were permanently deformed from the amount of swelling and inflammation and it was never enough for them. On my last day, I was one minute late for the first time during my entire career there and my boss marched up to me and told me I shouldn’t even try anymore, and he doesn’t know why I was still there…I’m not sure if he knew it was my last day, but it left a lasting impression. It took me years to feel safe and confident in a working environment again…thanks Gregg Distributors
