Pros

I have worked for many different employers; but Homes alive Pets is one of the few employers that doesn't micro-manage it's employees. Something that I think is underrated. As well, I get a long with most of my co-workers which is nice.

Cons

No cons that I can think of.

Pros

-Like the title says, they have a great team and environment. -It is pretty straightforward. -The management is very committed to listening to suggestions and solutions. -You get to see all sorts of dogs and cats -You have the opportunity to get educated about dog and cat food and supplements -If you want to get alot of work done and go home without any drama this is a great gig

Cons

-This wasn't an issue for me but If you are at all afraid of heights don't apply. It's alot of going up and down on the wav machines. -You need to have a pretty good smartphone to download and use the apps to keep track of communications and clocking in and out. -The wage is not fantastic and there isn't a night shift premium.

Pros

The work environment is really great. It's a calm, fun and easy going environment. At the same time everyone works super hard. There's no extra drama or gossip, just people who get along well and work well together. The people make half the job, so the wonderful people of everyone i've interacted with has been awesome. The work itself and training was easy to understand and smooth.

Cons

The only downside is the W.A.V. training. To use this equipment, you need to be trained by someone qualified, and i've waiting past my 3 month probation and still am not trained. It greatly slows some parts of the work and where i am able to help around the store. I definitely understand reasons such as making the cost worth it, and waiting for enough people to train at the same time. it definitely makes it a bit harder on the team when so many are not trained yet and a lot of product can only be reached using the W.A.V.
