Pros
Supportive coworkers and a generally collaborative culture among the technical teams. Reasonable work-life balance. Exposure to some modern tools and technologies, which is good for hands-on learning.
Cons
Senior leadership culture has shifted toward an “inner circle” mindset that promotes the wrong people while pushing out strong contributors. What used to be a healthy culture has deteriorated due to internal politics and lack of accountability. The company is suffering from a string of poor financial and operational decisions, which has led many talented people to either move to other departments or leave entirely. On the IT side, projects are heavily micro-managed by upper leadership and direction is often influenced by whatever new trend is discovered (including AI), instead of being driven by actual technical or business needs. Compensation also remains behind market benchmarks.
