Pros

-great communication with other therapists and surgeons -uses EPIC and Medbridge -flexible schedule change or shift change when reported or arranged early -great benefits ($3,000 continuing education fee per year and 4 paid continuing ed days+ other benefits)

Cons

-they only staff 1-2 OTs in a clinic location so a lot of the time you are working alone with nobody to bounce ideas with or ask questions -lack of mentorship but they tried to improve this by holding monthly OT virtual meeting to discuss cases -lack of a structured onboarding system when an OT is hired and lack of a good care transition system when an OT is leaving -management takes a long time to respond to therapists' feedback and requests

Pros

Low cost Health insurance for all full timers.

Cons

Very toxic work environment and lazy senior coworkers. If you’re new there they’ll work you to the bones while you’re getting a very nasty attitude from the senior techs. Senior techs will be on their phones all day and do a scan here and there. Lead knows it but won’t do anything because they’re always short staffed and spending so much with travelers that they’re do anything they can to keep the senior techs happy.
