Pros

Company vehicle and gas card, 4 weeks vacation to start, benefits and pension are ok, very little actual selling - mostly account management

Cons

Toxic culture allows management to do and say what they want with impunity, company constantly changing direction with no clear goals, sales employees graded on KPIs to which they have almost no effect on, garbage bonus structure, too many useless meetings that take you away from doing your actual job, company is mostly interested in how things look instead of how they actually are, almost impossible to get anything changed regardless of how terrible a policy is, all selling incentives have been taken away in the last few years, account teams are awful at communicating with field sales, new field sales employees being trained by managers who never worked in the field, employees with almost no experience are given opportunities to advance simply for living in the GTA and company is desperate to constantly fill roles

Pros

Great conditions and pretty engaging workplace. Great compensation salary-wise. Good managerial staff. Great autonomy.

Cons

Working hours are the only thing that are not great but you are warned in advance. The rotating shifts can be a pain for out-of-work planing. We get our schedules 1 week in advance which isn't great for planning.

Pros

This company may work for those early in their careers, but it’s not sustainable long-term. There is an implicit expectation to work extended hours to keep up with demands, and a lot of your weekends often involve preparing for the week ahead due to constantly changing priorities. This pace leads to rapid burnout hence the reason it's not a viable option long-term. While peak workloads are common in most businesses, this company operates at that intensity year-round. While not always the case, leadership occasionally makes uncertain or delayed decisions often driven by fear or their limited experience which does contribute to the instability. Many who remain do so mainly for the competitive pay and benefits or their title rather than a sustainable work environment.

Cons

No work life balance Lacks real support for critical areas Unstable environment for long term career
