Pros
There are definitely opportunities to grow, get promotions, and you can change teams if you signal interest in another team. Management actively trains us in how we can grow our careers and how to vouch for ourselves when asking for raises and promotions - that is not common and so is very welcome.
Cons
Vacation for the first year is not pro-rated and it doesn't reset at the end of the calendar year like at many other companies - you have to accumulate it. Benefits could be better like RRSP matching and more benefits to cover mental health therapists, etc., . They use tracking software to track when you're working and if you're idle - but it's not that bad. You can always make up time you miss and the threshold for when management starts having a problem with idle time is reasonable.
