Pros

The foundation is there for a solid company - the brothers that own it are solid business managers and good people, there are good people amongst the riff raff and they are why the company has kept its doors open.

Cons

If your not a part of the clique or a yes man (person) you will not survive. I watched hundreds upon hundreds of people go through the revolving door that is Leavitt. it's track record speaks for itself, they are not the biggest and they are not the best, but sadly they sure could be. Beware of the tyrants, their are many hiding in positions of power and they will stop at nothing to achieve their goals - you sign away your privacy, you will have your computers and phone conversations monitored.

Pros

Good Insurance plan, as a Canadian company the only thing they did right was take good care of the US based employees with decent health insurance.

Cons

The company is ever changing with upper management making up new titles for people which means if you were dealing with one person a few months later that person was no longer doing anything. They have very high expectations for sales reps that don't meet what the rest of the company is doing. After over 5 years of making this company millions of dollars in sales they let employees go when the entire company is down and expect sales to some how come up with stuff with zero support from the rest of the branch. The local branch was down 35% and had spent zero effort in marketing. They took over and within 3 years they ruined the reputation of the previous employer and went from high rental utilization to having a full yard of equipment with very low rentals. Their main focus is all the Canadian dealers while the US branches get the crap end of everything and they leave it up to the local branches with no budget and no local ability to run it the way it should be ran.
