      Pros

      Pension plan but nothing else. Salary is lower than all competition.

      I have been with the company 5+ years and was very driven and passionate and really believed I'll be working for this company for a very long time. Ever since COVID, the company culture has taken a nose dive. The new CEO just made it worse. now you have yearly layoffs with no metrics for measurements, this year alone they increased the days in to 3 days from 2 and then on top of that they increases the cost of health care so much that some people will pay an additional 100$ a month for the same benefits. As you go up in the tiers of health offering, moneris contribution reduces and employee contribution increases. they are straight up penny pinching from the employees. ever since COVID, there are no longer Christmas parties, team lunches, or any form of incentive to be even in the office.

      Pros

      Great work environment. Management is flexible and they are willing to work with you. You are able to work from home if need be. Everyone knows each other so it's like having a second family at work.

      Cons

      There isn't much room to truly move up. So if you get a position you are kind of stuck there for a very long time.

      Pros

      Great socializing and working with very talented co-workers, The management is focused on small teams, making you feel like you're never left out.

      Cons

      Moneris was great at first, but things started to go south with the new sheriff in town. Although they try to present the new changes as embracing innovation, I think it's clear to most employee's that this is solely for profit seeking and making the shareholders happy. While over-relying on AI, relaying responsibilities, laying off employees might keep Moneris on its feet for a while, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a huge blowback in the long term.
