Pros

Strong brand and stable organization with real customer impact Good exposure to enterprise-scale systems and infrastructure Supportive teams with knowledgeable engineers Opportunity to work on modern DevOps tools (CI/CD, cloud, Kubernetes, automation) Good learning environment for reliability, security and operational excellence

Cons

Processes can be slower due to enterprise structure and multiple approval layers Legacy systems still exist in some areas, so modernization takes time Priorities can shift, which sometimes impacts timelines

Pros

Great work environment. Management is flexible and they are willing to work with you. You are able to work from home if need be. Everyone knows each other so it's like having a second family at work.

Cons

There isn't much room to truly move up. So if you get a position you are kind of stuck there for a very long time.

Pros

Great socializing and working with very talented co-workers, The management is focused on small teams, making you feel like you're never left out.

Cons

Moneris was great at first, but things started to go south with the new sheriff in town. Although they try to present the new changes as embracing innovation, I think it's clear to most employee's that this is solely for profit seeking and making the shareholders happy. While over-relying on AI, relaying responsibilities, laying off employees might keep Moneris on its feet for a while, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a huge blowback in the long term.
