Pros

I honestly don't have anything positive to say about this company. Awful cultures and values.

Cons

This company has the worst culture I have ever seen, driven by negative and uninspired leaders. During my time working here I was blamed for several mistakes of others, berated, yelled at, and knocked down. The pay range is low in comparison with other industries and there were little to no options for advancement. The work-life balance itself is horrible and you will often find yourself working overtime with no sign of appreciation. This place has no value for it's employees, and instead of encouraging, they shame. Take this review as a red flag- this employer will not be in your corner and will often times throw you under the bus.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m very sorry to hear that you had a negative work experience with us at PARC, and I would like to better understand your perspective and specific details. As an employer, we take great pride in providing meaningful work opportunities for our team members, and we put a lot of thought and effort into cultivating a caring and compassionate workplace. Our corporate values include appreciation for one another, as well as policies that ensure that this comes through in a number of ways, including a compensation philosophy that places us, as a certified Living Wage employer, at a higher pay level than the average. I would encourage you to reach out to me directly at tbaena@parcliving.ca to discuss your experience so that we can address any issues that require resolution. Sincerely, Tony Baena, President and CEO, PARC

Pros

Use to be good, happy work environment and most people enjoyed coming to work.

Cons

This company got rid of people who actually do work and dedicated people who cares about the company. The only way to move up the ladder in this company is to two face and just tell them what they want to hear. Terrible company,....

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your perspective. There is genuine disappointment that your experience did not reflect the work environment we strive to maintain. We would like to clarify a few points raised in your review. Decisions related to staffing and promotions are based on performance, the ability to continuously learn and enhance one’s skillset, and the needs of the business. We take fairness and equity seriously, and we regularly evaluate our processes to ensure they are consistent and unbiased. Multiple individuals review promotion decisions; they are never at the sole discretion of a single individual. Regarding changes within the team, we understand that transitions or departures are incredibly difficult. When people changes are made, it is done with great consideration. When required, these decisions are driven by long-term goals for stability, operational efficiency, and support for both employees and residents. Employees who we have exited from the organization have all been given ample coaching opportunities to address their performance prior to their departure. During these conversations we encourage open dialogue and we value the outcomes when we support an employee in realigning with our expectations. We appreciate your contribution during your time with the company and wish you all the best in your future roles. We hope that this was able to clarify our practices.
