      Pros

      Lucrative sign-on bonus, plentiful OT. Progressive protocols, involved medical direction. Safety culture is second to none. Well structured new-hire academy and fantastic instructors. Travel positions give amazing opportunity for travel and long stretches of time off. Good work/life balance. Supportive management.

      Cons

      As is the case industry-wide, Paramedic pay and disparity with nurses needs to be addressed.

      Pros

      Great people, well maintained aircraft, high safety standards. They will never push the crew to take a flight that they are not comfortable with it. They back up the crew’s decision.

      Cons

      The company is still using a few obsolete systems. I do see some transitions into more modern and automated systems happening in the near future and I look forward to it.

      Really great package of benefits

      Cons

      If you transfer to another base that didnt offer the same sign on bonus, you will lose the full amount of the original agreement or possibly owe money back
