Great team and pay with no complaints - Software Engineer Parsons Corporation Employee Review

There are so many positives to working at Parsons in San Diego! The staff and management team are fantastic—everyone is incredibly kind, supportive, and always willing to lend a hand when needed. There is plenty of room for career growth, and the company truly offers a healthy work-life balance. Plus, leadership does an excellent job of recognizing and giving credit for hard work.

Honestly, nothing serious—especially compared to some tough experiences I’ve had at other companies. The only real downside is that the 401k match is a bit low compared to industry standards.

The workers that get stuff done.

Too focused on PowerPoint presentations. Too many burdensom processes that can have multiple layers and owners and result in completely inconsistent guidance. Senior leaders that say work life balance but expect everyone to work almost 24 hours It is a burnout rich environment Lots of Dunning Kruger effects at the management levels. Have seen and experienced leaders (VP and above) throw their direct reports under large busses and even after being professionally asked about it, ignore the impact and trust.
