Pros

I learned my worth. Life is too short to work somewhere like this. A high staff turnover rate (over 20%) at least means you get to meet a lot of amazing people. Just don't expect to work with them for very long.

Cons

During my time working here, Plexxis management took down their Indeed page to start their online reputation over again from scratch. Staff were directed to leave positive reviews, so please take anything positive on this page with a grain of salt. Staff are treated poorly and as if they are disposable, no matter how long their tenure or loyalty to the company. As a woman, I didn't feel safe or comfortable with many of leaderships comments or actions. I faced disparaging comments from management of all genders, not just men. Staff are grossly underpaid. The wage I was offered was absolutely insulting, but because they "offer" unlimited overtime, I was told that I could make more money just by working longer. I felt expected to work 60-80 hour weeks without weekends or leisure time. If I ever left the office at 5:30 (when end time is 5), leadership notices and often would make comments to me like "oh you're heading out early!". There is extreme pressure from management to denounce any work-life balance. There are beds in people's offices, and many people sleep at the office. The implication is "your whole life should be work". SOME EMPLOYEES ACTUALLY LIVE IN THEIR OFFICE, and do not have a house nor mailing address elsewhere. Zero career opportunities or company mobility. It felt like to me, leadership was very insecure that if people had growth opportunities and improved their talents, they would move on to better opportunities. I felt kneecapped and stifled consistently. Don't bother with a performance review, you'll never get any feedback. I had to ask for two years straight... and never had one, and I feel like they evade this review to avoid bringing compensation up to your performance level. Leadership dogmatically preaches a set of "core values" that they put on huge plexiglass signs and install everywhere throughout the office-- they're literally basic human decencies I expect out of any human being, such as being open and honest. It seemed these core values were only for staff to follow. Every day felt subject to a new set of double standards and as though leadership was exempt from following their own "set of values". Leadership is very cowardly with firing, and does so via email or during work hours, forcing people to leave with their entire office contents before EOD and before anyone can speak with said former employee. When I quit, I was asked not to tell anyone and no announcement was made to the other staff. I was told that mentioning I was leaving would affect morale, but really I don't think they wanted their staff to get any ideas that they could depart too. As with many others who had a similar experience, most employees learned I had quit after I didn't show up to work 4 days in a row and received messages asking me if I was okay. On a similar note, there are no exit interviews. I, along with many others who have since left, had a lot of criticism which could have been constructive, but as you can see with this review this environment did not feel conducive to being received well, if at all.

Pros

Working here has given me the chance to learn how things work instead of just fixing bugs all the time. I have exposure to real systems – Oracle, SQL, ERP logic, reporting. Managers are willing to explain things, sometimes more than once. Support and collaboration are top priorities. I also like the perks – casual dress code, great facilities, gym, games room, kitchen, outdoor space, and more.

Cons

It may feel overwhelming at first, especially for people new to the profession.
