Pros

Not the worst place to work day-to-day as there are some good people here.

Cons

A lot of frustrations with the way the organization is run, passive-aggressive leadership, their ridiculous fundraising structure, the general ignoring of work well done, and limited room for growth makes this place a morale killer. Years of working here felt like a slow, downward spiral.

Pros

- work with like-minded and mission-minded Christian people - time for prayer meetings, prayer day, Chapel, Bible Studies - lots of fantastic and fruitful ministries - it's inspiring to hear about the life-changing stories from around the world. - in general, there is fulfilling work if you can do the personal work of relating it back to The Great Commission

Cons

- can be quite "corporate-minded". Mission, goals, metrics/stats, budgets. If you're looking for a slow-paced, mainly relational, non-profit to "serve how you can", then P2C is not for you. There was often an emphasis on delivering "world-class" work and service. - lots of leadership turnover in the last 5 years, however, it may be settling down now with a new President and new board members. - there has been a move towards valuing the importance of mental health and diversity and inclusion in the last 2 years, but time will only tell if that will stick and become a fabric of the ministry culture
