Pros
- Friendly environment, everyone gets along and it feels like a "team". Does not seem to have the toxicity of some other workplaces. - Management seems to care about staff, values input from everyone and is fairly transparent about operations - Compensation is competitive - not the highest, but certainly above average. RRSP matching is nice, benefits plan is just ok. - Company is financially stable and continuously growing/hiring - I don't worry about whether I'm going to have a job tomorrow - There isn't a lot of micro-management: people are just trusted to do their job
Cons
- Sometimes it feels like there is just too much work, and not enough time/resources to get it done - it comes in waves - Training and onboarding processes could be better (maybe some micro-management is a good thing) - Very niche industry, which could be good or bad, but might not lead to opportunities outside the industry
