if your applying for a data center operator role, they WILL start you on 3rds, thats not in any of the recruiting pages, if your execting a desk job this isnt it, its pretty physical. They let me go with no warning, citing performance. your techniaclly in IT but theres very little troubleshooting if you like to troubleshoot, with 1 of the stated tasks is just walking around the building checking for locked doors.
