Pros
My salary was around $61/hr, which is good for a BA. Benefits included RRSP contributions, healthcare and life insurance. Work/Life balance was good. My supervisors never had an issue with me going to dentists' or doctors' appointments during the day, so long as my work was done on time.
Cons
Post-sale of Shaw Communications (which is where I started) to Rogers, it seemed evident that the department I worked for would have significant layoffs, so I took VDP.
