Pros

New office and great colleagues

Cons

An attempt to cut cost has resulted in the opening of an office in another country. Whilst the transition is ongoing, people aren't being adequately replaced and new joiners from another country are sorely lacking in knowledge or experience. The ones left behind are having to work hard to plug the gap leading to lots of internal frustration. You can tell how badly the management wants to cut cost when they can spend to move into a new building yet gradually cutting/reducing supplies like fruits or snacks. Attempts to paper over resourcing cracks by hiring interns on long term contracts. That's not a long term strategy. Leavers are not replaced adequately or are replaced with people of lower job grades to cut cost. Many replacement roles are also being moved to Bucharest in a bid to cut costs.

Pros

Flexible Work from home only for employees in Charlotte office.

Cons

New compensation structure is confusing and not fair. Does HR know how it works?
