Pros

Flexible shift options is the best I can say

Cons

Poor supervisors, poor management. They really need to get rid of the old people running the department and get some fresh blood in. They’re rude and disrespectful and over work the staff so badly that people never want to pick up shifts. The reason there’s a staffing crisis is because of how they treat staff. Condescending and arrogant supervisors who don’t know the first thing about motivating your people to want to go above and beyond. The pay has been $22.89 for years and the SHA refuses to come to the table to negotiate a new contract. That being said, the Union is utterly useless and they collect money from every pay check but no nothing! Shifts are 8hrs long but people are sometimes mandated to stay for up to 16hrs if the person for the next shift calls in sick. They hound the people they don’t like and favor and coddle the ones they do. Even when they break hippa and many other rules. Very biased vibes.
