Pros
- free food in break room
Cons
- 10% off “benefit” does not benefit with their gouging prices - very toxic work environment - high school drama with people of all ages - managers side with customers when you get yelled at by them - major favouritism especially with scheduling and departments - grid B contract is awful all the seniors get all the benefits and we practically get nothing especially with the new contract. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT US we are replaceable to them meanwhile the seniors get prioritized like royalty. - they let creeps work there and do not care to fire them they either move stores or get rid of others to make them happy. They continue to let minors work around them too, be aware for your kids if they want to work here. - they do not care when you bring up that they are breaking union rules even the union reps refuse to do their part in bringing fairness and respect to employees. - rare opportunities to move up or receiving promotions. it gets frowned upon unless you are overworking yourself. - overload your workload, instead of doing the job you were told to do, you are now doing the job of 2-3 which becomes overwhelming and over bearing mentally and physically. - managers cut major hours and refuse to help when people call in sick. hire tons of new employees just to cut hours and don’t cover sick calls. - managers never train new people in departments then question why they don’t have full knowledge or gain proper experience. majority of the time it’s newbies training newbies and they end up making mistakes or picking up bad habits.
