Pros
It’s comfortable and secure if you’re good and know what you’re doing.
Cons
Management won’t take anything seriously. There were physical harassment claims made against an employee at the store I worked at, by younger females, and absolutely nothing was done about it. This happened on multiple occasions and they decided to not terminate the employee. I have also heard of this happening at multiple Save on Foods locations…. So I guess they let those kinds of people stick around and keep their job because they never have enough staff and don’t wanna lose people? Insane. The way the management teams treat staff is awful. The workload is absolutely ridiculous and the pay sucks. They won’t hire staff because its “too expensive”, so the departments are left suffering and the full timers are worked to the bone. They cut hours all the time but expect the same amount of work. If you’re good at your job, you get punished by more work. This is Save Ons motto I swear. They don’t appreciate or value the staff at all, and they just keep asking for more and more with no extra pay. I cannot say enough bad things about this company honestly.
