Pros
- Young atmosphere. - Real desire to do great work. - Excellent branding work and solid design team. - If you want to work on something, speak up, you'll get a chance. - Affordable lunch program. - There are nice people who genuinely care. Find them. - A place where you will foster friendships beyond work. - Good work/life balance.
Cons
- Zero mentorship. Not a place for the young ones. - Tedious hours with a lot of heart and hard work often see no reward and no production. - More interest in making work billable than making great work. - Salaries so far below industry standard they are subterranean. - Inexperienced client services makes creatives' work more difficult. - Sid Lee Collective is a facade that invests in outer talent to look cool rather than support the real side projects or creativity of their artisans. - Known to relocate talent, have them uproot their lives, and fire them without warning after a few months. - No spaces to brainstorm but big, quiet offices with cushy sofas for the presidents to enjoy. In other words: "Know your place."
