Pros
Working at SoulCycle was pivotal in my career, as I gained a stronger sense of business management, leadership and feedback skills. It was such a fun, happy place to work and the riders (customers) became family. Not only was I given the freedom to run the studio as if it was my own small business (awesome feeling), it brought some of my very best friends into my life. The experience you gain in management at SoulCycle is amazing.
Cons
With any job, there are some cons. I personally struggled the most with having ALL part time staff (as SoulCycle only hires part time positions other than salary managers). This made keeping morale high with growth opportunities for my staff challenging. I had to get creative and also accept that the turnover was a little higher than I'd experienced before. We only had 1 studio in Vancouver, so there was nowhere else to help or transfer to, unlike the USA studios.
