Pros

- Co-workers were generally nice - Very casual dress code

Cons

ANY POSITIVE REVIEWS ON HERE ARE CLEARLY FAKE. WE ARE NOT DISGRUNTLED FORMER EMPLOYEES.. I WOULD HAVE WROTE THIS WHILE WORKING AT ST. JOE'S. EVERYONE HAS QUIT, BEEN LET GO, OR WENT TO WORK FOR THE COMPETITORS. I WOULD RATE EVERYTHING A ZERO IF I COULD - Family run, like the mafia.. - No growth, or opportunities given, unless you are family, or a brown noser - No raises for 8 years!! NOT EVEN A COST OF LIVING RAISE! - Only positions that make money, or have any influence are held by men that are part of the "Boys Club" - Sexist environment. Only one woman in a position of power - Worked beyond my work contract for many years. Changed roles, and was not rewarded or given a title change - Upper management has no clue what they are doing. Majority are not even qualified for their roles - Family in unqualified roles - CEO doesn't care about the employees whatsoever. He is probably waiting to sell the company, and claim his cheque - Cuts taken from employees, so that the family could fill their own pockets - Lived in constant fear of being let go, since it happened every few months - Mandatory Leave of Absence, taking 2 weeks of our pay, for the past 4 years - Change in pay schedule, holding back another week of pay - Family owners decided to donate $1 million dollars to the pope, but can't even give their employees cost of living raises - You are put down by management whenever possible, so you are unable to advance in your career - No appreciation for hard work, talent, effort, long hours, dedication, or loyalty - VERY long hours, sometimes 12 hr shifts to meet printer deadlines, with no gratitude - Empty promises - Lost many clients, due to poor management or business decisions - Sales people never gained new clients, partially because the company's reputation is so HORRIBLE - Company always cut corners, producing low quality results - Totally out of touch with what is modern, in style, or popular. Everything looks like 90s-2000s - Creative team would copy from other major brands, because no one had any talent - Life/Work balance totally out of whack. Prepare to have no life, in order to work around the clock to save the company money I've never been so disrespected, and felt so unrewarded in my life. I would have left many years ago, if I was financially able to take a risk. They hold employees hostage, and use the threat of firing them as a way to keep them there. People were often compared to minimum wage workers, even though they were highly qualified professionals.
