Pros
I enjoyed my time with TourRadar. Over my 2+ years with them, I worked in both the Toronto and Brisbane offices, though most of that time was spent in Toronto. I would have to say that the highlight of my time was forging lasting relationships with the team (both domestically and internationally). I felt very supported when I stepped up to a new challenge or project and was encouraged to try new things by my seniors. In addition to this, my career progressed well during my tenure having started in an entry-level position and becoming a team lead. My Manager was supportive and flexible when it came to leave or accessibility requests and encouraged developmental opportunities, including FAM trips. In addition to all this, the middle-managers, across all offices, should be commended. Those that I worked with (particularly in Customer Support, Marketing and Business Development) were fantastic to work with and hold a commendable and impressive amount of knowledge in their respective areas.
Cons
It's a growing business, so hard-work and long-hours are necessities. I wouldn't recommend joining this company unless you are committed. Some processes were "trial and error" and priorities change frequently which can cause frustration some cases, but it's symptomatic of the fact that it is a growing (and fairly new) company. They do not (necessarily) hand-hold, so I'd recommend TourRadar for those that are tactile and like to find their own answers.
