Great multicultural city. Lot of things to do during both winter as well as summer. Very accessible city, excellent public transportation. Good place to learn French .

Hourly rates and benefits for postdocs are terrible! They do not like if you do not speak French. If you can not speak French , sometimes they refuse to address your problems. It is a nightmare to get in touch with someone in the IT department (called DGTIC) to resolve any issue.
