Pros

No pros, can see hell going souls.

Cons

It openly supports mobbing at the Coimbatore accounts receivable team. When a senior person dislikes someone, they frame that person with lies, making them feel suicidal—even if they’re the best employee. Inhumanely, they either force them out or make them leave on their own. It’s a hellish experience for the souls involved, and the Almighty will surely punish them for all their deeds. They think they are the Almighty and can do anything wrong. The top management in the USA doesn’t know anything about this. Here in Coimbatore, four people control all of accounts receivable and can destroy any family, career, or soul after severe torture. I wish I could file a legal case with all the evidence and send it to our CFO and CEO, but I don’t want to ruin the lives of the good, little people working there who are innocent. I’m sure the Almighty will punish those who have done evil things. I curse them—with words from the Almighty, whatever that means. And they will give promotion to pay rise to any who satisfy those people and abuse others constantly and if anyone if friendly with sales and solved issues they will fire them as they wont be customer friendly or dont like anyone getting close to the persons at onshore USA and if they do they fear that he /she will complain against them there.. they should fear Almighty more for their evil deeds anyways .

Pros

Simple and geographically small territory sizes. Coworkers were enjoyable to work with, even across many departments. Opportunities for self development and networking were abundant. Benefits were decent, and includes a lot of mental and physical health support.

Cons

Management expectations of conduct contradicted my previous sales training in similar roles. Having had a variety of sales trainings, VWR seems to be a backwards outlier- pushing older style sales tactics that millennial and gen z customers would find distasteful. I felt that the majority of my job was not selling despite being hired as a sales rep, as I spent the bulk of each day constantly apologizing for being unable to deliver critical goods. This was a the lowest total compensation sales job I've held for the level of skill required for this role. I didn't realize I took such a significant pay cut when entering this role, probably because the hiring manager "sold" the potential of the position to me well. I nearly tripled my total compensation while working less hours by leaving for a similar role. I had odd, intrusive, or unprofessional questions asked by management. There seems to be an ever present "witch hunt" for unproductive employees. I was often asked why I didn't respond to something after hours, which did the opposite of motivate me to work harder. Other companies I've worked for or currently work for seem to have much more respect for my time and were thankful or rewarding of extra effort, so I reward those employers in turn with my extra effort after hours. The food and accommodations at the sales meetings were atrocious.
