Pros

The salary is good enough compared to its competitors, some areas are definitely better then others and this also applies to supervisors and which shift you’re on.

Cons

Canteen it’s a huge con, every day, lunchtime turns into a stressful experience due to the staff’s attitude and the lack of decent food options. The staff is consistently rude and acts as if they don’t want to be there, which makes the simple act of ordering food unnecessarily frustrating. To make matters worse, the food choices are extremely limited and repetitive, with no effort to improve or diversify. Since the location limits our options for eating outside, we’re stuck with this subpar service.

Cons

There aren't too many that stick out which would lead me not to recommend this role.

Pros

The organization has been in the midst of major transformation for many years, which could create meaningful opportunities for improvement, if managed well. There are capable employees across the company who want to contribute and move the organization forward.

Cons

Communication and culture currently feel very top-down. Employees are often expected to just listen rather than participate in shaping ideas, which can make it difficult to introduce new thinking. In a time when a company is navigating significant change, that dynamic can limit innovation and honest dialogue. The company frequently promotes leadership changes through press releases framed as major milestones. However, insiders know these announcements involve leaders who have been part of the existing structure for years, which can create a disconnect between external messaging and internal perception. There had also been considerable strategic repositioning while the company was already in the middle of a major transition. Shifting direction during an ongoing transformation has only created more uncertainty internally, and employees appear hesitant to speak openly about concerns. Overall morale appears low.
