Extremely toxic management culture. Promotions and advancement are often tied to compliance rather than competence, and showing confidence, self-respect, integrity, courage, a spine, or even a desire for work-life balance can put a target on your back. Management’s primary methods of communication are yelling, blame, intimidation, and threats toward job security. Corrective actions and coaching are practically nonexistent until leadership has already decided you are no longer considered a “fit” for the company.
