Pros
good projects, some people are genuinely nice and great professionals
Cons
upper mngmt encourages a culture of gossip and comparisons, hidden by a smoke of 'transparency'. intermediates want to take over their leaders, leaders want to take over managers, and the cycle goes on. the high-profile designers keep getting laid off due to their high cost. new mngmt only cares about margins, Founders are disconnected from reality. They expect perfection while giving the bare minimum, when a project doesn't fit their liking they get mad (and on some cases fire people) because they weren't involved, while in reality they were somewhere in Bali and couldn't attend any project meeting... the list goes on. Support teams try to help but are usually understaffed and their leaders keep getting replaced every so often, zero continuity for most teams. All in all, I'm only here because Toronto job market is terrible right now, most people have a escape plan.
