Lots of workplace politics and red-tape - Anonymous employee York Region Employee Review

Working as a summer student at York Region, I can say that the working environment, coworkers, and compensation were the best I could ask for as a student. Very positive experience.

Working in an area servicing other Region employees, the higher-ups in the region were often very critical/impatient, however I think this is very typical of working for any company.

York Region is a very nice place to work with. Lots of opportunities and good salary for students. York is one of the fastest developing communities in Canada

You may have to relocate if you are not living in the GTA area. In winter, sometimes it take more effort to get to work as well..
