Pros

Interesting projects, knowledgeable people, good location.

Cons

I don't know who are all these people who write positive reviews. Toronto office is completely different. We are workhorses, working for bowl of rice. Pay is low. No pay increase for more than 3 years. Poor benefits. Work load is enormous. Very limited grow possibilities for non-US employee. No budget for modern work equipment (monitors, laptops), you have to scavenge labs and office to find a decent used ones. Elevate team, that supposed to take care of people, just ignore emails from Canadian employees.

Pros

Good compensation, great engineers, great projects. Really, the people here are great.

Cons

Some managers have no technical knowledge. Mandatory Christmas shutdown - it takes half of the vacation time and make feel that company has nothing to do and need to cut the working hours.

Pros

Using interesting technologies & interesting projects.

Cons

- Worst work environment that I've been part of. On my very first call there was tension between Manager and Developers and everyone just drops off stand-ups when they have said what they wanted to say - small things like that that amount to work environment. - No onboarding plan when I joined in May, just given a Confluence page full of outdated information and dead links. - Assigned a 'buddy' but buddy is consistently too busy to spend any time to go through particular questions. - I was told not to set 'Goals' for the year on internal portal as they are not taken into account or monitored.
