Pros

Good benefits and pension. Some great people to work with.

Cons

The cultural decline is staggering. Decisions feel disconnected, unnecessary, and, at times, outright reckless. Morale has plummeted, and there’s a growing sense that leadership is does not care. They are only concerned with making themselves look good. It’s baffling that the CEO is no longer based in head office in Regina, especially for an organization that claims to value its roots. Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of dollars are being spent on consultants with little to show for it. A gross misuse of money that ultimately comes from clients and taxpayers. Accountability appears nonexistent. The organization is in clear cultural and financial decline, yet the CEO seems solely focused on posting on social media. It raises serious questions about priorities when those at the top appear more interested in maintaining a public profile than actually leading the company. To make matters worse, jobs are being moved out of Regina and away from the farming community, further eroding FCC’s connection to the very industry it was built to serve. What was once a respected, purpose-driven organization now feels directionless and detached.
