      Toxic CEO and terrible work-life balance

      Pros

      - Tech stack is good - Product fills a genuine need in the market - They really care about retaining paying customers - Fully-remote positions

      Cons

      - Terrible work-life balance, expect you to work 10+ hours a day regularly with no idea of how to manage team capacity - Toxic CEO who is a dev with an ego and little to no leadership skills - Unlimited vacation is a scam - Well below average salaries - Micromanagement tactics and expects employees to respond immediately on Slack despite saying they value uninterrupted work time - They will replace you with a cheaper alternative in a heartbeat if they could - Their employee base comprises of: offshore Indian employees that they pay for cheap, people making career changes into tech that they overwork and a few bros to stroke the CEO's ego at the top

      I'm disappointed to hear of your experience in working with us. Nonetheless, we appreciate constructive feedback that can be used to improve our work environment and the company at large. Each item referenced has since been reviewed by management, and individual contributors on the team to determine factual validity. As a company, we are a perpetual work-in-progress and will continue taking actionable steps to improve the employee experience.       The worst company I've worked for

      Pros

      Fully remote, depth of knowledge in the e-commerce industry, some actually genuine employees who care

      Cons

      So many cons: CEO who has a huge ego and yells at others in front of the whole team, expects the team to drop everything to go in office when CEO and his wife are in town despite it being a remote role, micromanaging, they hire vulnerable people who really need the job and then exploit their labor, beware that many of the positive reviews here are from the management team themselves.

      Hey COO of Fulfil here, appreciate the feedback. For anyone that joined us during COVID, we've made sure that we live up to our commitment to continue to allow 100% remote. In 2024, we did make a conscious business decision to primarily recruit for in-office positions in Miami, Bangalore, or Toronto. For anyone still working with us in a remote capacity, we do ask them to travel and regularly come into one of our hub offices when leadership is in town. We've also updated our careers page with a section on "What it's really like to work" here so that folks can opt in (or out) of the high intensity culture. While we believe in direct communication, we do believe that everyone should always be treated with respect. Yelling is not constructive and I'm sorry if that was your experience. thx again.

      Manchild CEO with terrible ego and tantrums with no ability to regulate his emotions. Older employees will stab you in the back to get ahead
