Pros

-High turnover provides opportunity to move up, not that you really want to -Great opportunity to witness a failed ERP launch from the inside, if that's what you're into

Cons

-The ERP system you rely on to perform your job doesn't work, but you will be blamed for it regardless. -No training or development, you sink or swim -Culture of passing the blame instead of solving problems at their root -Low pay -No project management/planning. The cheapest upfront alternative which typically has a larger cost over the life of that investment is always chosen. ALWAYS.

Pros

The vibe is certainly positive, pleasant and kind. Coworkers all tend to get along and enjoy each other. This is the best part of the job.

Cons

There is little room for growth in any meaningful way. A 'promotion' comes with months of training (without a raise) for minor and simple tasks. Moving up the ranks is incredibly difficult and often comes with a raise that is mere cents extra. For example, a cashier makes a quarter above minimum wage. Once full-time a cashier makes $11.75, once you're a supervisor you make $12. This position tops out at $13/hr for a position that requires you to be a solo manager on duty in charge of a team of 20. If you attempt to apply for administrative positions the raises are menial here as well--you certainly aren't given what you're worth. What they consider a reasonable salary is below the low-income cut-off (poverty line).

Pros

-I've worked for 2 Goodness Me! Locations and at both so far I've enjoyed all of my peer employees. They always hire kind, cool, sociable and intelligent people. Great atmosphere in terms of employees. - Free food/snacking - Opportunities to learn and grow in the Organic community (TONS) and free classes as well

Cons

-RELIGIOUS MANAGEMENT and priority for scheduling and moving up in the company are given to fellow religious members over long term, dedicated employees -Stiff scheduling; pressure to work shifts you may not want to (i.e. over night SSC or 8 days in a row) -Petty concerns like where people park, "lateness" charts and complaints about 1 or 2 minutes being late here and there (?), over technical about where people can eat, sit, talk, have to buy coffee from eatery at only certain points in your shift, have to clock in after putting down your bag as if that makes a big difference in time... -Bag checks (treat employees like thieves in some regards)
